Any Geometric shape may be graphed. A 2 Dimensional shape may be plotted on a 2D graph, and
a 3D shape may be plotted on a 3D graph. Often, the corner coordinates of a shape are plotted
on a graph to define that shape. Thus, it is important to understand basic graphing in order to
understand Geometry.
This video may be used as a refresher for basic graphing:
Understanding Basic Graphing is vital to being an informed consumer, and
to being an informed citizen. Many informative details are shown as graphs, especially as a
function of time. Examples include the price of stock or the frequency (or quantity)
of some societal problem over time. Knowing how to properly read a graph is the difference
between being well-read and informed; for example, many graphs only show the maximum and
minimum values on their vertical axis, which may make a very small change appear quite large
if the graph is not interpreted correctly.
